The last new character revealed is Toma, not Leonid. Leonid was on there weeks back...
The real improvement I'd like to see are the actual designs of the characters. Based on the trailers I've seen, they are generic to the core. Hopefully the plot will bend a few conventions...

If the graphics dont follow hopefully there is an addictive gameplay and especially good story.

The only thing that i dont really like the 'sound of' is when the characters perform a certain attack they shout what they are doing, like 'ENUENDO DIVE!' and 'SPINNING WALTZ' it reminds me off valkyrie profile sylmeria (i thought it sucked BTW) I just hope theirs an option to turn of the voices in battle because that could really become a ball ache :(
If there would be any way to get a better signal from my 360, I may fire it up for just this game.
You're pretty darn right, Oversoul - but in my opinion if there would be a Japanese voice option [there better be] then those attack-lines would sound a lot cooler.

If they stick to those OMG textures you'll get shorter gameplay like TooHuman or MassEffect, but it's not what expected for those who plays JRPGs.
They could implement those beautiful-gorgeous-ground-textures easily if they wanna make a hype machine like shitty 6 hours sandbox ACT or gray-scaled shooters with a makeshift multiplayer mode.

Like in Shadow of the Colosus, sure the gfx wheren't fantastic if you compared them to a game that only had one small level per time and needed to load. But SOTC loaded it all in one go and that was why it still looked fantastic.
If the game ever looked like that, they had to do some massive downgrades....
