It looks nothing like the old strategy games.
And these shots looks just as bland as the first ones.
I like the art and style...etc. looks like a very good pure fantasy game.
But in the end i need to see gameplay footage of how it plays and how it looks in motion.
Graphics looks very good, and the music, judging from the trailers, it has a very great orchestral score to it which is my favorite.
So...gameplay please! (hopefully in TGS)
are you serious? compared to heavenly sword this games looks like viva pinata...
Anyway, I've seen the first and the last screen about a month ago, but there are some more recent screenshots here, here (I have no idea why those screens are not listed in IGN's screenshot index for the game) and here. It looks quite good and four-player co-op with completely destructible environments sounds interesting.
It's not even the same genre, this is an action RPG, while Heavenly Sword is a pure action game. If anything, the concept reminds me of Too Human.

But we will have to wait for some footage before we can say anything about that....

ummm since when are colors a bad thing, since it was said in a way that sounded like he was trying to bash... first people wine that too many games are bland and colorless, now that they're trying to texture with richer colors thats bad somehow?
i didnt even know about this game, will definitly start to keep an eye on it.
When is it due to come out? Looking very promissing.
hope it's not as glitchy as N3, though i like it. :)

it also says, it has 6 playable characters with each own weapons, over 70 gros monsters to beat, over 50 or 60 abilities for infinite combinations and combos, and it supports 4 player online co-op jumped in instantly and each can exchange their weapons and items.
