This is looking very atmospheric, just what I wanted for the new GTA.

Im sure its gonna look awesome "in real life" when you actually play it in front of your own tv, but why do soooo many games have ultracrappy screenshot qualities?
Test Drive Unlimited, looks like shit in some screenshots, looks amazing when actually playing it..
Same with Kingdom Under Fire. Same with Halo 3, Forza 2, Saints Row, PGR3&4..
Et cetera.. Even Mass Effect looks alot better than the screenshots, even tough it looks amazing in the screenshots..
And some of them are even .png.. And still look like shit. When a .jpg can look just as good, why save as a .png with all the grainyness and odd sharp edges when various shades of color collide?
I'm not talking about photo manipulation, im talking about simply preserving the quality of the image.
I mean... Who the heck is responsible? I could do their job for free lol.
But anyway, nice screens.
Ok, technically it's not among the best out there; Low res textures, low poly's etc. But overal, it's looking fantastic for the type of game it is and what it promises to (hopefully) deliver. Performance and draw/pop-in is my main concern at this point. Hopefully the game will be smooth as silk when released.
I always get hyped up for the GTA games, hell i bought a PS2 just for San Andreas, this is going to be no different.
wow....this game is so overrated.
lol, wise words!
This game is going to be HUUUUUGE.
but still smaller then San Andreas
This is a bigger leap than 2D GTA from GTA III, said Rockstar. And I do start to agree with them.
"Bad + Good = Better for everyone!"
lol, wise words!
