Half-Life 2, one of the last biggest Xbox games to come-out, showcases with these 9 screenshots. Nothing compares with the PC version of course, but the game doesn't look that bad... Well, actually it does look bad, but I'm sure it could have been worst. And, more than the graphics, the real pain in the ass is definitively the lack of any Xbox-Live option, even a simple deathmatch mode. A shame for sure, and not exactly the type of defect you'd expect from such a blockbuster. Valve is Valve...
[NB]: Just in case, it seems that most of these images are from May. So perhaps there is still hope for the graphics...
@droezelke: Yeah that's true too.. I mean in general I'm fine with grouping everything into "8th gen" but it's definitely not a clear boundary anymore.. and I guess it never was on PC. (7 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: And the question is: what generation? PS4? Xbox1? PC? Switch...... (13 minutes ago)
Even accounting for personal taste and genre preferences, etc. (15 minutes ago)
Game of the generation is kinda a hyperbolic thing to say about any game. It's tough for me to think of anything that really stands head and shoulders above every other game. (16 minutes ago)
Probably also comes down to what settings and styles you like. I love the Wild West so it appealed to me greatly (26 minutes ago)
@MikeManiac61: funny you mention RDR b/c I was playing that in 4K before GoW and was reminded how great it is (27 minutes ago)
As a boring, overhyped, western wasteland with very little to do, other than skinning animals and playing poker. (38 minutes ago)
