Until we can share with you our footage of the campaign later today, here are a bunch of 1440p videos of the Horde 3.0 mode in Gears of War 4. All graphics settings were maxed out to record the following extracts and you'll also enjoy 5.1 surround sound if you download the encoded files. Contrary to all our footage of the solo mode that we only played in Hardcore mode, our Horde 3.0 videos were recorded in normal mode. Enjoy!

Interesting that I remember those maps, and now they're all grown/molded over. Looks nice.

But playing PC with a controller?! Ugh...

I'm baffled how much they managed NOT to improve this franchise in any category but graphics which is solely due to the higher resolution. Just more of the same, nothing refined at all. Still the same clumsy control scheme and still the same dorky animations.

a lot of reviews seem to be saying MP is as fun as ever but the campaign is a let down.

Reviews say a lot of things, but your own opinion should matter the most. I don't think No Man's Sky would have got even half the sales had people actually listened to reviews before they purchased it, then again they also held reviews hostage until after the release date.

Game looks fantastic on PC, if I ever upgrade to W10 at least I'll have a copy waiting for me, but for now I'm fine with playing this on Xbox One.

H.265 is too soon for us.

Plus, it takes so much more time to encode that I can't say I'm thrilled at the idea.

As for 4K, game can't hold a steady framerate at 4K in campaign mode, and it does not look very nice when the game is locked at 30 fps. In multiplayer, 4k DSR works ok in gameplay, but capture kills the framerate. So, probably not.

Are you asking this question again? Yes I am.

I play on my couch and I like it this way (my butt too) / The review was also aimed at Xbox One players / I hate playing with a mouse and I especially hate playing with a keyboard / Why wouldn't I play with a controller against AI controller players since gameplay was thought with a controller in mind from the ground up?

Now if we could, please, move on and never ask this question again. It's like complaining :)

I'm sorry but just watching someone play a game that requires aiming with a controller is painful. My hands hurt a lot when I play with a controller for more than 15 minutes. That never happens with a keyboard and mouse. And a good office chair is much more comfortable and better for you than a couch.

I beg to differ. Can't stand watching someone play with a mouse and keyboard. If it's that painful to you, then I'm sorry but, don't watch.

I like my couch and I have no room for an office chair. Plus, keeping your eyes this close to a screen, not good for you. ;)

LOL, yeah, it's hard to watch people actually hit things and do headshots etc with fast and good aim.. Much better to watch these crosshairs go all over the place or lock on by some auto-aim..

Indeed. Also, it's so nice to enjoy the environments with the epileptic movements of the mouse. :)

Also love the keyboard and its non-analog movements, it's so 80s.
