I really hope this has a satisfying ending. I mean, it isnt exactly the deepest story in the world so there arnt many questions to be answered. But it needs to end better then the second game did, especially in regards to gameplay. Far too many action games of late have ended on either fixed gun emplacements (halo reach), vehicles or on rails section (killzone 3). I dont want any of those for the end segment of gears 3.

Yeah the last fight in Gears 2 was lame, everything up to that point was awesome only to finish it wil a lame boss.
I cannot call it boss at all. In hardest difficulty the thing died just from few shots with Hammer of Dawn. Yes, i really hope this time we get some challenging final boss battle.
I love this game, but I dont get why they always focus on emotional trailer-music and strange dev-diaries, when the game is such an awesome smack in the face of action-loaded awesomeness...
P.S. There was a boss in Gears 2?
P.P.S. I bet I'll hate the silverback as much as I hated the Brumark part In Gears2. Booooooring it was.
Oh my God... when Gears of War 3 was first announced I said on the official Gears forums that their final trailer should include the song 'Into Dust' by Mazzy Star. I can't believe they actually took my idea - that is so strange.

Epic are like that, they are one of the few companies that actually listen to the fans. I also told them to sell GEARS 2 for free, I'm still waiting for that anouncement but when it comes I'll be awaiting to preorder.
