Jeez, don't get me wrong, I'm excited about this game, but this was just too much self love for a developer. And the way they talk about it, it's like Gears of War is the single most important achievement in gaming..... And it's NOT! I mean I can't wait to get my hands on this game but this video was just a big ass kiss....

I hear you, but i think these Vidoc's are a bit like marmite, either you love it or you hate it :), i do however think they are very professionally done and look very good, but i think 3 of them would have been a good amount to do, not 7 and not released every week!, the good thing is the game will be released next week, so instead of constantly hearing about it, we get to finally play this beast that is GOW2 :)

Lol, lets face it though, these guys have earned it. And I'm guessing if Epic managed to get a bit more independance from Microsoft on this (ie like Bungie with H3) they would probably be toning it down at least a bit from this, and still I have found each of these things useful and interesting to watch.

Truth is ... I put my children to bed ,then some TV watching with the wife and when everybody is sleeping it's MY TIME at cost of some good night sleep .

Games that look and play that good dont just happen, it takes tremendous skill. Imo, they earned the right to pat themselves on the back a little. And I've heard Cliffy commend other games for being good, so he's not as big a douche as some of you make him out to be.
