Microsoft tries to outdo the excellent "Mad World" ad of Gears of War with this new video done by the same team. Gears of War 2 will be released in 2 weeks.

It's not as good, but the Mad World commercial was pretty much the best vigeo game ad ever (at lest among the ones I've seen), so it's not a negative IMO. It definitely sets a quite depressing mood, hopefully the game will be able to sustain that.

Shows whoever responsible for GoW2 ad is a one trick pony- the first one was totally unexpected but it seems like no one even put an iota of thoughts (except for the song which was probably heard while watching Little Miss Sunshine). They could at least try to make it surprisingly different from the first but I guess it's just safer and easier to recycle the same concept.

Once again a good song, and once again a horrible ad. I'm against using licensed music in games, period, but it's even worse when the song doesn't even go with the game.

I never really like sci-fi but this ad changed my mind :o I must try this one out!

I played like 1 level of the first one, didn't really like it but this one looks to be a golden hit!

Well, the second one will most likely play out very similar to the first one. Sorry to say, but if you didn't like the first one, chances are you will not like the second one either.
