Looks interesting for sure, but combat is what matter for me in these games.
If its as polished as their DmC game, then thats good.

I'm curious of the implications of using a character from an exclusive IP, in a new multi-platform IP? Assuming that is indeed kai?

Yep, let's hope they learned something from DmC.
Never letting Tameem near a microphone to say anything should be a good start.

DmC was a decent game in its own right but a pretty poor Devil May Cry game. It probably would have done better as a sequel to Heavenly Sword, set in the distant future, as it retains alot of what it had in the combat scene with the colour coded enemies and having to hold down the trigger buttons for the entire duration of use when before you could swap out your guns, melee weapons and Styles in a single button press
