Page 1 2 3 >>Well, i think the developpers will try to create some alternation, I hope so ^^
i don't , im not convinced of playing a game that you spent entirely on top of a dragon , will get repetitive.
Atleast dragons can go close combat while jets can only shoot missiles and machine guns from long range.
I for one am gonna get this game, no matter the reviews and such, atleast if I don't like this once I get it, I can say that I gave it a good shot.
The grafx are cool, very nice landscapes. Well, a demo will show us how it plays.

PS. Damn Blim no sound :(
The very great stuff about this game is the sound and the soundtrack from John Debney :D
But I gotta say after watching the video, it looks great, the landscape and graphics, its amazing in my opinion, really cool stuff. They wasen't kidding around that they were going for a lot of stuff on screen at once and still have great graphics. Although I am sure it will have ALOT of epic battles later on the game which I just love to play it through.
Now it all ends with...is it still on September, which I REALLY hope so.
No demos until AFTER release, that is what they said.

Well, okay, so we'll have to wait ^^
Nargh, but demos are made to get an idea of the game, BEFOR it's released... nargh.

I for one WANT a demo before the release but thats not gonna happen.
But for those who are uncertain (me not included) should either wait for the demo, or rent the game.
I WANT this for sure. If I didn't like it, well I got 10 days to return it so there is no problem there.
I like the story, art and most definitely the score by John VERY much.
The only thing that might turn me off is the flying.
Like is it gonna be hard to control the dragon with the sixaxis and how much time does it take for the animation and movement into the dragon once you start moving your arms.
But I am sure gonna enjoy and adjust myself to the game. Thats how it works.
YOU have adjust yourself to the game, the game can't adjust it to you.

Too bad really, also heavenly sword got the same treatment, graphically amazing, gameplay is bad. I played the demo and thought the gameplay was a bit simplistic.
its got some bad reviews, boring repetative gameplay, bad framerate drops and generally just not that interesting of a game. I personally dont like the look of it.
I don't you can talk about a game like that when you haven't played it... I don't how the gameplay could be repetitive when you can fight on ground and on air. I mean if you wanna talk repetitive look at Ace Combat.... oh and the frame rate was locked for the final build
If the Release-Version is just like the GC-Version I will not buy it!!!
I'm sorry todisappoint you, guys...

I was really hoping that Lair is a game with depht and athmosphere, with a good gameplay ...
@ WhiteWolf: Deutsche sind doch nicht dumm, sie sind bloss... anders ^^Hehe, nichts für ungut =)
I was so excited to play this game... But as soon as I played it at the Games Convention in Leipzig, I was really disappointed. The Gameplay didn't really catch me, the Controls weren't so smooth and the Graphics really just sucked (compared to other Next Gen-Games). Maybe the Graphics are a bit better if you are playing on a big HD-TV with 1080p like mine, but at the moment I don't believe in that.

To the people who say it is repetive and boring, Ace Combat is the same thing. You keep flanking and try again, fly around try again...etc.
This is like Ace Combat but its in a fantasy world with epic battles.
And those who say the gameplay sucks...well it is using motion sensor so you can't say anything about it until you try it out yourself.
Maybe the reviews didn't even bother with learning it so they gave it a bad review. They probably thought it was a Wii that they wanted everything to feel natural to them, or thye just swung their arms like monkeys to try and see some action but failed.
I for one say, if a game like this uses a different control scheme and people are unsure about it, I say try it out yourself and don't let reviews do it for you.
You may like it, you may not, but atleast you have a very perfect and VALID excuse to say "I thought the gameply wasent there" and a "I have rented/bought it" then they have nothing to say.
If this game had more original and colorful characters and environments, I might care for it, despite the fact that the gameplay looks mediocre at best, but it's just another brown-grey run-of-the-mill action title (with dragons!)
LOTR had tons of grey/brown and green filters, Return of the King had tons of brown/white. the only place that had colors was at the Shire by the hobbits.
So saying the colors are bad and then saying its sucks, it just shows you that you are not giving the game a chance.
ace combat is boring as well
Never EVER play flight games then, it is not you. If you don't like these stuff why do you enter a thread when the game is a flight game :S
Personally it looks like an OK game, but it sure as hell isn't the masterpiece i was expecting.
