Our videos of Devil May Cry HD

After Metal gear, Silent Hill, Jak & Daxter, Prince of Persia, Ico & Shadow of the Colossus, Sly Raccoon and a few more I forgot, the Devil May Cry HD Collection will allow you to enjoy three games of the glorious PS2 days in high definition. It's just a shame that all the in-game menus are still in low definition and with an odd 4:3 ratio. Devil May Cry 2 is probably the least interesting title of the bunch but the two others are worth your while if you don't mind awkward camera angles.

Damn, now i want to play it again. My favourite in the series. Tbh didn't looks as bad as i thought it will be.

Hmmm.... ps2 version isn't an option - looks like dog shit on my HDTV's. :S

Its sad how shoddy these HD ports have been...didnt even up the texture quality...

Redrawing the menus to support proper widescreen would require actual work, which Crapcom can't be bothered with. All these HD ports are doing is 'squeezing' the 3D geometry and rendering at a higher res, which requires virtually no extra work on their part. You can do this on pcsx2. Thus far teh only true HD remake is Halo

Honestly, just being able to play DMC1 and 3 on my PS3 is reason enough to buy this. DMC2 can fuck right off but DMC1 is still good and DMC 3 is, along side NGB, the best action game ever made.

The same as it does when it used in any situation. It's a high definition resolution, ie, 720p or 1080p. Thought people would have known that by now?

the dmc 1 music reminds me alot of the re4 music. re6 needs that mood and vibe again.
