Looks to be heavily inspired by Salt and Sanctuary, which in turn was inspired by Dark Souls series. Would be nice if they stuck to the cutscene style instead of yet another "retro" pixel fest, but oh well, cutting corners, saving budget, working smart not hard.

This trailer doesn't do the game justice imo. Bosses are gonna be epic in scale and honestly I'm dissapointed by the cutscene's art direction. Older trailer is way better: https://youtu.be/WNPD0EK9W34. Game has been on my radar for years now

Does the dev mention switch version?

About the game

  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I mean they can keep upgrading it but why bother when they have more capable engines already. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I just think it shows its age in a lot of ways in FC5 and they have better tech so they should use it. (3 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth if they still pay royalties to crytech when using it they probably should (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Although I think it's kinda time to retire Dunia. (3 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @HR2: a lot of studios used modified UE3, games like Arkham Knight, XCom2, both being very problematic on pc. Interesting to see what those studios will do for their next games. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @HR2: Ubisoft uses their own engines. They have like.. three solid in house game engines. (3 Hours ago)
  • HR2
HR2 @Melmoth: agreed. speaking of Ubisoft, I wonder which engine they're using for the next Splinter Cell. a heavily modified UE3 like Batman AK or UE4? (4 Hours ago)
