Crysis 2 gets two screens and not more

Electronics Arts has decided to release two screenshots for the highly detailed Crysis 2. The game is expected to be released before the end of the year.

American dream :) Why do they spoil the game making action in the US? Original Far Cry was tropical, Crysis too....now city, what's next? Dungeons? Anyway i've bought 1 and 2 games then i doubt i'll be buying this. Crysis was like a benchmark for our hardware and fun to play. This again will be only a console game and poor environment. Shame shame shame! And nope it isn't the best looking game ever. I'm sure it's a long way to reach "best looking game";P

I like 3rd person action games and 3rd person sandbox games and 3rd person shooters.

But my favorite its 3rd person action games just like Bayonetta,DMC and Ninja Gaiden.

Crysis is fun to play against the Korean soldiers. The alien stuff ruins it.

I enjoyed some parts with aliens, were great looking places. But i agree, it wasn't as satysfying as fight with the Koreans :)

It's great load a mission, and just play around with the enemies.

While crysis looked amazing, I was pretty let down with the actual game. It was certainly fun but got old fast.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this on consoles, but if they don't offer a good MP this time it will be a rent only.

That's pretty much how I felt. After a couple of levels, I had to force myself to keep playing. There just wasn't any incentive.

None the less. I loved the first game. But I have to admit that I saw a lot of player who ALWAYS took the enemys out from huge distance and afterwards complained about the lackluster gameplay.

Nothing against sniping, but to really experience all the facets of Crysis you really had to switch up your gameplay. Snipe, play Schwarzenegger Commando-Style, and sometimes McGayver-Style (Booby-Trap Car with C4, shoot in the air, run to cover and cloak and wait for the patrols rushing in... with a diabolic smile on the face).

Uncharted 2 looks better imo, but then again, I'm judging based on these screens and I suppose I also find Uncharted 2 more visually appealing than than Crysis on PC :P

As long as Crytek fully take advantage on what the consoles can do for Crysis 2, then its all good.

Anyways, this my most anticipated FPS, period.
Though I can run Crysis games now on high/very high, but I dont think I can run them by the time Crysis 2 is out, so I think I will have to go with the PS3 version.

lol true ! :-D But i'm sure we're gonna see a wider palette than just the typical GoW-concrete-colors. At least i hope so...
