That jungle is SO dense it easily rivals Crysis and comes VERY close to the CGI trailer.
I couldn't figure out how they would incorporate so many polygonal trees but they have and it looks fantastic.

I guess everyone was too worried about his Crysis comparison to notice his other mistake--> Even though this game is looking good, it comes nowhere near the CGI trailer.

No it comes very close. Motorstorm 2 is more than just that track, and all tracks don't have to be of a specific area... it's called variety.
Looks a bit rough to me although there's still several months to go before it's released. There's a lot of obvious draw-in issues, some obvious clipping on that first corner and the vegetation looks odd although I can't put my finger quite on what it is... poor lighting... kind of flat looking...? It certainly doesn't look that much of a step up from the first game to me visually. Guess I'll reserve full judgment until I see the final build...

What are you talking about? I said nothing about variety. I think it's great that they've switched to a tropical setting and have variety to the tracks. I was only talking about the QUALITY of the graphics, while good, are nowhere close to any CGI trailers for the Motorstorm games.
