Images of Velvet Assassin

Gamecock and Replay Studios released a bunch of images from Velvet Assassin, to be released on PC and Xbox 360.

Gamecock info:
In Velvet Assassin, players assume the role of Violette Summer and head deep behind enemy lines with no support or official backing from the British Government. Violette risks her life fighting to defeat the German war machine one stealth mission at a time. Velvet Assassin combines lush, surreal visuals and a ground-breaking stealth combat system to deliver a gaming experience which is truly the first of its kind.

I like it. Her chin looks a little pointed but it could be the angle in that pic. The look on her face just seems, idk, plastic?

Can't say i fin the look of the game particularly appealing and i never was too turned on by WW2 so i guess my interest in this, based on screens, is pretty much 0. Environments look pretty much empty and boring as well.

Why can't American developers seem to make a decent looking female model? Otherwise this game looks sweet

I love the impressionistic coloring and it's hardly just brown.

In this case we're talking about German developers.

I dont like the era which this game is played whitin.. It should have been around the 20th century to appeal me.

Is it maybe the creators behind Thief who is making this game? picture number 2 is reminding me of that game whith the blue cammo.

Another low budget game.

Next gen keeps on giving. Why not just keep these low budget affairs on the Wii where you can spend the little money you have making a game that doesn't have to rely on looks and presentation?

Would you prefer it's set in the future, like TEH 21ST CENTURY!? :O

Looks pretty interesting to me. At least it's not a WW2 FPS. I mean, give it that. You can't say there's a glut of WW2 stealth action games.

Does anyone know when this one is coming out? 2008 or 2009?

Looks pretty decent, I may have to add this to my short list to keep an eye on if it is due out for 2008.

Hardly budget, there's some nice techniques going on here, should be interesting.

Some of these comments are hilarious...

SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (4 Hours ago)
  • Megido
Megido Did you make comics and stuff for kong back in the day? The art looks similar :) (5 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (6 Hours ago)
