Scans of Resident Evil 5

Famitsu had a huge feature of Resident Evil 5 this week, presenting a lot of new info. According to translations the article states that a new trailer will be published soon, and the images in it is from this trailer. A new female character is shown and some creatures that looks very much like some from the previous games in the series.

Black girl as one of the main characters...and in a Japanese game? You loco. She's obviously tanned (no surprise given the game's setting). Also, according to the translation at NeoGAF, she's a completely new character--most likely the one whose eyes we saw at the end of the last trailer..
you were obviously in hibernation when the whole "racially insensitive" thing happened after the first trailer came out..if you were Capcom and wanted to quiet the complainers, why wouldn't an African female character aid in doing the trick?..if you can't see that, maybe you're the one thats "loco".

Yes it was one of the worst in the series in my opinion, bring back the zombies damn it !!
It's different, I'll give you that, but it's awesome. Also, Las Plaguas > Zombies.

i agree. i liked the gameplay but it had a shitty setting compared to the other resident evils. what made resident evil spooky and fun was it was set in an environment that reminded us a lot like home, in a city. it sucks that they abandoned that. i seriously did not like the enemies in the 4th one as they just spoke Spanish all the time and it wasnt scary. do the zombies talk in this one? i seriously hope not.

The system it's look same RE4, it's use to the camera control on left stick. but i like more than a camera control on right stick. Look awesome to use HDRI lighting, somebody know about woman in game, who is she?. thx you for scan^_^

Resident Evil had become tired and stale, RE4 needed to happen

re4 has the johnny depp lookalike guy who looked spanish just like the locals

re5, since it is set in africa, it isn't a surprise there is an black chick as a cast member. as long as she shows her guns, i'm a happy man

Well she sure as hell don't look black to me. (Hispanic more than likely)

As long as they keep everything that was good of RE4 with the spirit of RE1 in terms of balancing action with suspense and fix Redfield's extreme buffness, I'm pretty much sold. I don't want the series to lose it's horror roots but I don't want the game to slow down too much either... it's a hard balance to reach for sure.

When is this supposed to come out now, again?

P.s. I also hope the story is not cheesey, because Capcom has become over the top Japanese in their storytelling of late.

Negative on that, we just need fast zombies ala the remake of Dawn of the Dead or 28 Days/Weeks Later. Spanish speaking villagers were acceptable but not the best. They might have had a creepy essence but not scary, to me at least. I need gross shock value of the primitive kind, lol.

Why not? Too late in development or your opinion? He was too skinny in that first teaser we saw so back when, but now he's a pinch to buff for my tastes in that character. They need to tone it down a notch.

If it's on the left and we can't change it, there is no way I could play this game.

err no, the eyes belonged to the blond girl you also see in the last scan, which is prolly sherry birkin.
