Microsoft and Team Ninja released nothing less than seven new videos of Ninja Gaiden 2, each unveiling one character of the game, along with one or two artworks each. Looks like there will be quite a few boss to slaughter, and the horrible american dubbing will certainly be a good enough motivation to be fast about it.

I like how bosses love to talk shit before you throw'em a royal ass whippin! LOL!
Heh, in the first NG the bosses didn't talk very much. Except for Doku, he had one or two one liners... what he said was really interesting indeed, but they never went as far as explaining it.

the NG1 boss with the flames under his helmet was one of the nicest looking boss designs i've ever seen. he looked much cooler than these new bosses.

Considering the epic difficulty Ninja Gaiden is known for I'd hardly consider it a "royal ass whippin" when the fight actually happens.
I found the best way to master Gaiden is to first block and roll-away often, secondly memorize your attack patterns. Even after that the game is still a challenge but not impossible as some have described.

Exactly. I never found the game impossible because of the block and roll technique (also love the counter attack). It's challenging but a good kind of challenging. Of course, if you try to pick up NG after you leave it alone for a while, you'll get your ass kicked as you'll forget all the basic techniques.

wasn't it the Arcade version that was unlocked in Xbox Ninja Gaiden? That would have absolutely nothing to do with the NES games.

The Arcade game sucked so many balls it needed dental surgery to hold them all.

That's my thoghts exactly. But quite a lot of people don't like Dokus design. The battles against him felt really epic because you spent more time looking for his patterns and evading them than actual fighting. Half of the gameplay is of deffensive nature anyway, which is imo a healthy mix. Never gets old.
