Sony had the great idea to put the whole press conference from a few days ago online on the PSN, and you can count on me to rip as much stuff as possible from these videos. Let's start with this little game called Killzone 2.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum @Driftwood Awesome! I’m loving it! It does show a much crisper picture and the frame rate looks good! I was playing Stella Blade and Dragonball Soarkling Blast! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2008-05-10 22:03:23 In reply to FarooqThis is the only game apart from Gran Turismo 5 this generation that looks CGI-like when even running and controlled(not in the cut-scene I mean). Gears of War's cutscenes looked really CGI like but runtime was not, very pretty but not CG like. The main reason was the excessive use of depth-of-field in Gears' cutscenes which was absent from the gameplay. In KZ2, that finesse is present throughout and it shows...
Stop compairing it to CGI because its not even close and nobody should expect it to be, for those that are still bitter that Sony showed CGI way back in 06.... hmmm... time to get over it i think, its been 2 years.

Can't wait for the beta!
Commented on 2008-05-11 00:49:29 In reply to JatoI'm a bit worried though since they haven't talked about it much, but maybe that will come at E3. It would be nice if the beta kicked off alongside, or around the release of Home(no more delays). People running around with their special Killzone avatars(clothes) :p

Not that it matters, I didnt even believe the trailer was real time when it came out. This looks more impressive than I expected...fantastic
Commented on 2008-05-11 05:53:551. There's a little game called "Kill.Switch" which Gears of War copied 95% of it's gameplay from (taking cover, blind-firing, 4 ways jumps, etc).

2. In the first Killzone, enemies had a cover system, and you could too, yours wasn't just a "sticky" cover system like Kill.Switch.

3. The first Killzone and Kill.Switch were both out before Gears of War and Rainbow 6, why people are saying that Killzone copied either one is baffling and laughable... baffable?

1. Chief looks like a Quake/Doom soldier
2. The Halo was ripped-off from Ringworld
3. The Covenant and it's religious leanings was ripped off from the Dominion from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
4. Chef's "last of his breed" is right from Luke Skywalker's plight as a Jedi.
5. The soldiers/Sarge were ripped-off from Aliens
6. The Elites are like Aliens with Predator's mouths and Wristblades
