Microsoft has released tons of images and videos from Ninja Gaiden 2 today, revealing different staffs and maps from the game in horribly compressed videos.
Update: Information and image of upcoming DLC added

Microsoft has through the XCN announced that a costume will be available for 39 000 gamers. Press release:
Inspired by the Hayabusa family’s namesake, the falcon, this demonic costume mirrors the intensity of Ryu’s vengeance and fury as he fights to regain the honor of his clan. It’s almost as if he’s been transformed into a Fiend by the evil powers of the underworld with this costume – but retains all the honor of the Hayabusa Ninja Clan."

Starting July 2008, Xbox Live members worldwide will be able to download 3 unique Hayabusa costume packs for 200 MS points each to use in Ninja Gaiden II. Each costume pack is a completely new and never before seen look for our Ninja hero, Ryu Hayabusa.

The first of the 3 costume pack designs is being revealed today. This will be exclusively available in selected countries to 39,000 gamers on launch day as part of pre-sale or launch promotions with specific retail partners. Look for more details on other two designs and specific country promotions to be revealed in the coming weeks. Go to xbox.com/ng2 or your favorite retailer to pre-order Ninja Gaiden II today!

Oblivion, GTAIV and Burnout Paradise that are way better looking and glitch free on PS3 than 360.

I started playing ninja gaiden sigma a to quell my thirst for ninja gaiden 2, i love this series and this will be an amazing game.

Two or Three is a big word, PS3 has been outselling 360 with NO BIG exclusives, and if there actually are Two or Three, MS has all the reason to panic HeeHeeHee.

Unique titles like LBP and MotorStorm are way more captivating than already stellar FPS titles like KZ2 and Resistance 2, that add up to a great mix, especially with upcoming MGS4, Siren and Gran Turismo 5...
hmmm.. you keep mentioning how the ps3 is outselling the 360... which it is, in japan and europe. But games on the 360 are STILL outselling the ps3 versions... the resent example of this being GTA4 which sold an estimated 60,000 more upon release in the uk alone on the 360 (where it was stupidly rumoured to be selling 3-1 in favour of the ps3 before release, which the fan boys lapped on to). What does this mean? it means what its always ment.. people buy the ps3 for a blue ray player first, a games machine second. So untill that changes then developers are hardly going to forget about the 360 any time soon... so your claim that the ps3 is outselling it is pointless.

As for lineup... it could easily be argued that Microsoft has the biggest line up of the 2. The ps3 has mgs4 and resistance left to push out this year (unless resistance gets pushed back like killzone2). Where as Microsoft has an instant counter in gears of war 2, a new halo game, fable, a square exclusive, and a gta4 expansion pack.... which if its a new island, and multiplayer (which its rumoured to be a hell of alot more than simply a few missions)..who wouldnt want to play more of the biggest selling game in gaming history?

Thats the funniest thing i've heard today. Doesnt Rockstar even have a patch out now cause the ps3 version of GTA4 is fucked up?

As for better looking? sure.. if you like games in a lower resolution with a noticable worse draw distance, go for it.

NG2 looks significantly better than NG1 in almost every single way, there is no comparison between the two. I think you need to remove your nostalgia colored glasses and replay NG1 (the original not Sigma) I guarantee you it doesn't look as good as you remember. Trust me, I'm re-playing it right now.

These forums have really gone downhill in the passed year, the stench of trollish fanboys is almost unbearable. I almost wish Snoops, BlimBlim and Manager didn't do such a damn fine job in covering these games and putting out some of the best videos on the internet so I could quit, oh well, I guess everything good has it's price.

Ha Ha, I never said anything remotely close to software sales, they always follow a trend. But the thing is what substance is there to sell each system. You're talking about 'fillers' but not so much as system sellers in 360's lineup... take a good look, PS3 is even out selling 360 in the US too, in 360's homeland and Europe and Japan are just entirely different places. Even with biggest sellers like Halo 3, Forza 2 and Mass Effect, 360's sales aren't even over PS3's since quarter-4 last year, which is a shame, and with Gears2, halo wars or NG2, 360 is gonna remain the same while PS3's BIG GUNS haven't even fired yet.

As for GTAIV in UK, not in the Europe but UK!, even with 360's over a year headstart, over the top marketing of exclusive DLC and exeggerated PR couldn't make it as far as over only 60,000 units sold heeheehee. MS paid 50 million just so they could sell over 60,000 more in a big territory? Nah, I don't think so. MS is just doomed you know.

Team Ninja has been nothing BUT a slouch in the graphics department this generation. This game is no different.

Software sales is the only thing that counts for publishers..i used gta4 as an example as its the most recent big name multiplayerform game, i could of easily of used cod4, fifa's, maddens...whatever. The point was that many people have the ps3 for the blueray player first, games second. Infact i think they did a study saying that 90% of blueray films sold are to ps3 owners.

As for your GTA4 comment.. thats in the UK alone, i think the world wide sales difference is in the millions. But it was the uk that the fanboys were all over the rumours of the ps3 version outselling the 360 version 3-1. The uk is part of europe, and a territory where the ps3 is outselling the 360..so again the fact that one of the playstations biggest franchises sold more on another platform shows that many have their ps3 for a blueray player first, a games console second.

All of which makes your reasoning about microsoft being doomed pointless when we're talking about computer games.

1) there are allot of people going crazy for the release of ng2 and the fact its coming out a week earlier could infact end up hurting the mgs4 sales.

2) mgs4 gamers and ng2 gamers are 2 different beast, i for one will be getting mgs4 and ng2, but there are many ng2 fans that will be getting it for the hellish action and mayhem it brings, mgs4 on the other hand dose not interest them, likewise most mgs4 fans are hankering for the great story telling and stealth/action gameplay that mgs4 will bring and ng2 dose not interest them.

So all in all i dont think mgs4 will hurt ng2 sales at all.

I think the best thing about the Ninja Gaiden series is just how ridiculously hard it is, and the challenge it brings to beat
Not many games do that anymore

It had been a long time since I thew a controller or got pissed at a game before the first one came out


Brings back a lot of old school gaming memories for sure, even in a next generation game

Uhh what? Put NGB into your tray again and see the diffrence. NGB was a superb looking game, NG 2 is just waaay better. And the people saying the game looks like NGS are just pathetic. NGS looked nice, but the fact that the engine wasn't build for the PS3 shows quite a alot of weak points.

The speed and the pace is about right for the game. If it is similar to NGB controls we're in for the best Adventure game in this gen, no contest. When you're playing yourself it's etirely diffrent from watching, nothig's random at all and you get used to the pace.

Just not all that hyped for this one, which is odd considering this is the sequel to what I consider one of the best games I've ever played.

I'll still get it day one, and if it's gameplay balances out nicely between combat, puzzlesolving and adventure like the first one I'm sure I'll really enjoy it. So my hope is that TN won't fuck up in that regard like they already did in the graphics department.

I love the new lunar so much now, every video of it just hypes me to believe it's possibly gonna be my fav. weapon. It just looks so awesome and the new essence attacks are so much better than the first. I just can't wait to play the demo of this game!
