skate is where it's at!

Yeah i played the demo yesterday and it felt and looked, well, crap!

Demo was bad.

i think i played the skate demo more than i played the last tony hawk, i used to be a fan of tony hawk games but they have strayed so far from the point, which is SKATEBOARDING. i think that skate has brought this back in a whole new way, the controls at first were weird, but now they feel so natural that when i played this demo i was all messed up. you would think that after doing a game for so long they would be on top and have a niche, but to have a first timer like skate come out and show off a game better than any you have done, thats sad. what happened tony hawk? aw well skate is here to the rescue!

I've also been a big fan of THPS and Underground (except underground 2 and on)
the games are just horrible now, but they had a good thing going on before underground 2 started. R.I.P. THS Series. A new skateboarding game has been conceived. :) Skate.

it's funny, because tony said on camera (when he was here in Germany for GC 2007) "I don't know, Skate has this completely new control scheme which might not feel right to people. TH has the same control scheme it's been using for years, so people will most likely stick to that."
after his comment they showed people playing skate and everybody stated how cool this game and how realistic the gameplay is. they stated that they looked forward to this in the TH series, but now, Skate rocks.
I'm also getting Skate with some other friends of mine and we're leaving Tony behind... for the first time ever.
