Espionage, interrogation, brainwashing and all the perks from a good Cold War tactical strategy game will be on the table August 14th when Phantom Doctrine releases for PC, PS4 and Xbox One with a $39.99 price tag. The game from Good Shepherd Entertainment and the creator of Hard West CreativeForge Games features a 40-hour+ single-player story mode with two different backgrounds (KGB counterintelligence operative or renegade CIA wet work commando), a New Game Plus that adds story content to the campaign and 1v1 multiplayer matches. Add on top of that a sountrack composed by Marcin Przybylowicz and you're good to go.
It's a better story than any of the movies though. Easily. Although that's maybe not saying much. (4 Hours ago)
@b0vril: it's basically a more refined, more fun version of the Arkham games. That's a good reference point for whether you'll like it or not. Liking Spiderman himself obviously helps. (4 Hours ago)
@GriftGFX: yeah interesting when people make excuses for that :) (11 Hours ago)
Whilst Spiderman looks like a good game, I can't help but feel like I would get bored pretty quick. I'll probably wait till it's way cheap. (12 Hours ago)
@Seth: spider man is great. Coincidentally continued playing it this weekend and having a blast. (13 Hours ago)
My favorite Call of Duty since COD4. (1 Day ago)
I'd say that it's the only BR I'm interested in playing if Tetris 99 didn't also just surprise drop. (1 Day ago)
