Looks too easy again guys, at least give us difficulty options this time. Cool fight combos are cool and all until you can do it with your eyes closed, or know you are very unlikely to die.

I don't care how amazing Altair, Ezio or Connor are - at least give us a difficulty slider.

I think the difference in this episode is that you won't be able to drink health potions during combat, so maybe this will help make the game a bit harder in that area.

I highly doubt. Last time i played Brotherhood and was able to kill 20 bad guys without getting hit. Counter, counter, counter...Zzz

I agree with @RazorbackVI. This series needs difficulty options. Previous games are dumb easy and chore to play.

Ubisoft clearly doesn't learn from AC's criticisms of their "Press X to Win!" gameplay. While the Far Cry team does learn from FC 2's feedback. Maybe with all those 600+ devs on AC, they just don't have a clue on critic/player feedback anymore.

I rather like Assassin's Creed fighting system. It's more rhythm and improvisation than anything else, which to me is refreshing because it creates new circumstances in each fight. I will agree that there should be some higher level of difficulty where if you get stabbed or shot once it's game over.

They should learn from Rocksteady, make all enemies attack at once so that the couter has some meaning, in here enemies just wait their turn or to Connor to face them to attack, thats dumb.

I still love this though, loved AC2 and Im sure I will love this.

Meh, this is the 5th game in the main series. They've solidified how difficult they cared to make the game back in AssCreedBro. I don't mind. I'm happy they are attempting to improve the stealth and the way to approach situations rather than the combat which I give 2 shits about.

That reminds me, I'm sure Assassins 1 was more guided towards being stealthy without being caught. Being a true assassin. Wouldn't mind that coming back, too much emphasis on climb jump stab.

Which I suppose is what you were saying Formless?

Ya.. I want the game to hold my hand through a variety of scenarios. ;)

Looks good to me! Played a bit of the first one and found it tiresome and haven't played an AC since. This is looking like a potential buy for me.

The level of violence in this just seems way, way over the top. It's bad enough it has the whole flag waving pro-US nationalistic crap, but the sick levels of violence are way beyond what I want to see in a game.

Screw that, you are a badass assassin, looking cool, and have awesome combat skills and agility and some nice hunting skills, thats what draws me in the game. The rest can be whatever.

If anything there ain't enough gore, I want to scalp people and cut in half soldiers and cut heads and blood all over the place, you know like in real life.

Yeah Im insane.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be bitching like that if it was any other nationality. And really, it is bitching for the sake of bitching it seems. Maybe you should write the Canadian dev making the game a letter telling them they are too pro-American.

I wouldn't bother engaging him on this subject. He's a zealot.

Combat still looks a bit crappy, and the traversal still seems like automated tripe (only now in trees as well as buildings)

The ship sailing stuff is the most interesting thing about this game to me. But that's going to be what? 2% of the actual game? Not enough for me to buy it. But after ACB and ACR, i honestly thought i wouldn't ever even rent another assassins creed game. So they've done enough to change my mind in that regard at least.

You don't even know what the word means, but by all means feel free to insult me if it makes you feel good.

Or better still, justify your stance. I don't like nationalism or extreme levels of violence. How is that a bad thing?

Because your attitude is antiquated and is itself nationalistic. You are fanatical and uncompromising in the pursuit of your ideals. That is one of the definitions of zealot.

Oh.. wait.. I looked it up in an American dictionary. It could be totally wrong.

More hypocrisy. I do know what zealot means. That was an insult. Did it make you feel good?

I don't really care if you see it. This is not a conversation that I mean to have. I do not believe that you are capable of seeing this issue in any other light.

Edit: Removed some comments. If this isn't a conversation that I mean to have with you, then I should probably leave this as it is. You're obviously entitled to your opinion, and to express it however you'd like. I have my own, and I've extended that to Ron as a courtesy. I meant to caution him more than to insult you. Because, really, what's the point?
