I loved HeavyRain for what it did, they could have done some things better and i hope this fixes some things. But being completely different experience then most games and having more of a attachment to characters, due character development and story telling. This is exactly what we need in video games now.
yeah i cant play these qte only games and at $60 hell no.
I understand it was different, though not exactly groundbreaking but last time I checked, "different" doesn't exactly mean BETTER.
As for the game, it looks interesting even though David Cage is like our M. Night Shyamalan. I'll keep a look out for it because it at least looks different from every other game coming out.
On the game however, I agree. This game has a pretty neat story in place and they can do a lot of really neat things now both technically and game-play wise with the paranormal. I'm keeping an eye on this one for sure.
I'd like to buy a PS3 at this point. I want some SP focused narrative games. SORRY GUYS
Looks really cool

I wish I had a PS3 only for this and Heavy Rain.
Those two are imo the only exclusives which have no substitute...
I enjoyed Heavy Rain a lot and I admire Cage for daring to push the boundaries, but the incredibly silly supernatural nonsense in this looks like a huge mis-step. Heavy Rain worked largely because it was plausible, but this is a million miles away from that.
"I hate these type of games, so I'm going to make sure I comment on each and every update that this game gets!" I do not understand this mentally. There are 100s of other games that are not like this that are released every year. Why insert yourself into a discussion that you admittedly have no interest in the topic?

Different people have different tastes in games, but I don't think that precludes them from being in the conversation. I have actually had other gamers convince me to try games in these forums based on replies they gave to something I pointed out (see Utalkin2me's reply for a good example). I think forums would be pretty boring if everyone just sat in a big circle jerk arguing about who wants the game more than the next guy.

They made some pretty valid points in my opinion. For example, I would actually be interested in the game if it wasn't $60 as well, but as it is, I couldn't justify that kind of money. Just because people have concerns about a game doesn't mean they absolutely hate it.

and FF13's battle system during fight scenes.
dont you think that would be kinda cool...add some depth to the combat. Obviously it wont work that well with her powers now being the possession of people..but when i first heard about it i thought it might be more a mutation of her having the powers
