E3 is not over here yet for us, as we still have a bunch of videos from the showfloor to show you guys. Tonight, it's the turn of Sleeping Dogs, the GTA-like published by Square-Enix and planned for a summer release in August. Enjoy!
Actually looks pretty decent. I like the thought of Arkham Cities combat mixed in with a little blood and gore (not to mention the exploring, driving, and shooting to keep things fresh).
They do need to work on the physics/animations of the fight scenes though. Half the punches look like they go through the enemies, many lack any real impact, and then some knock outs have terrible physics or lack thereof as the enemies jump into a spin and fall animation. It just makes you realize how smooth and flowing the combat and physics in Batman really are...

The version we saw a few weeks ago was ok framerate-wise when you were on foot. It was far less smooth when driving a car at high speed. I still think it runs better than GTA IV but I might be wrong, I haven't played it in a while.
Ah jesus, the same video we've been having for like...man i don't know..a thousand times. Don't they show any other parts from the game other than this?
seriously why this same part again and again, sometime they cut the chase and shows only fighting and sometimes with the chase part, even when it was TC Hong Kong, they showed this chase in a trailer O.o
anyways i am getting this game not only it looks good also to support square enix-eidos to bring this game to life again
If they gave this guy a job working down on the docks, and allowed him to hit up the working video game arcades, then this could be Shenmue III. The way things are going, this is very likely the closest we are ever going to get to seeing the next chapter in Yu Suzuki's opus. I guess that also means that Shenmue IV - VI are also out of the equation :(
