Our videos of The Only Traitor

If the name The Only Traitor does not ring any bell, it must be because you had no idea The Final Station was getting some new content today. For $4.99, you'll be able to travel behind the wheel of a Muscle car instead of a train, with necessary stops to find gas, food and water. Check out our 2 videos inside.

Our videos of The Final Station

This afternoon, Gamersyde is going all retro 2D games, starting with The Final Station, which was released on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on August 30 - in North America at least. Despite the pixel art visuals that might not be engaging to some people, Do My Best Games' title is a surprisingly atmospheric and addictive experience, with some beautiful pixelated backgrounds on top of that. You play a train driver whose mission is to deliver a precious cargo which is supposed to help the army fight the strange virus that is turning people into shadowy monsters. The enemies in the game are quite reminiscent of Heart of Darkness, which is a good thing, as they are just as merciless and dark. The gameplay mechanics may be simple, but they work very well and it's hard to stop playing. The only minor problem we have with the game is that it's hard to read what the survivors you pick up are saying to each other when you're making sure the train is running properly.

What's up?
  • MrWhite
MrWhite comic book films. If you take Dredd as an example, Anderson in that wanted to "make a difference" in her own words, and actually ended up saving the main protagonist. Girl power. (1 minute ago)

MrWhite @KORNdog: Yeah, good point. There's been tonnes of films that have done it, its just that, er, no one gave a fuck. (3 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Oh, aye. It's all the bollocks that comes with it that's laughable. Blade was the first comic book action hero. I can't recall any politicising of that back then, but then again no twitter or facebook (4 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Plus for a film that got a lot of praise for being very "girl power" is was actually a self sacrificing white guy who saved the day...I found that pretty funny. (8 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Wonder woman is the best film DC has done, but that's hardly saying much. It's jokes land. It's action is good. But the big bad is lame and kinda ruins the entire thing. (8 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog But as mike said. One man's treasure can definately be another man's trash. As he said I think rdr is one of the worst examples of open world design. The joys of opinions. (10 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite A shit films a shit film, dont give a fuck if its about black, white, ginger or whatnot. (11 minutes ago)
