Fjord Noir Mystery Draugen teased

The developer of Dreamfall Chapters, Red Thread Games, have unveiled a new teaser trailer of Draugen. Announced in late 2013, the single player game is described as a first-person psychological mystery set in 1920s Norway. Players take control of Edward Charles Harden, a traveler helped by his ward Lissie in the search of his missing sister in a small coastal community where secrests and darkness lurk beneath the beautiful landscapes. You can also expect a dynamic dialogue system and an unreliable narrator. It's coming in 2019 first on PC, then on PS4 and Xbox One.

Red Thread's Draugen teaser trailer

Ragnar Tørnquist and his team have released the first teaser trailer for their survival horror game Draugen, announced last October. The title is inspired by Scandinavian legends and Norse mythology and is set amongst the Norwegian west coast in 1920. In this dark jounrey, the player controls an American nature photographer who will uncover clues and memories about dark secrets and tragedy of a remote fishing community. Read more about it here. Expected to release in 2015 on PC and current-gen consoles.

b0vril yea, I don't really know how emulation works. (13 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite The CPU will probably have multiple compatibility layers, replicating each architecture. Most likely just for PS3 and 4. Any decent CPU within the last decade has the PSX covered. (16 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @KORNdog: Probably an architecture thing, or something to do with the bios. Most emulation is brute forced. There's a good reason why the likes of PS3 are only now being efficiently emulated. (16 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Bit isn't that just like any emulator? Isn't a SNES emulator on a modern PC pretending to be that old hardware to give more accurate results during emulation? (21 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @b0vril: what I don't understand about it is everything I've read says it lets the CPU "pretend" to be the native CPU of the console it's running backwards compatible games for. (21 Hours ago)
