Video PS4

Need For Speed Rivals players have had to cope with the unpleasant impression that the game's framerate wasn't steady all the time, which was actually due to a bug the developers were trying to correct. The long awaited patch has just been officially released on all platforms and EA's new NFS title is now smooth as butter, but still runs at 30 fps. Because we wanted to have the best possible videos of the game here, we captured two more videos of the now patched version of Rivals. What else?

Just like Battlefield 4, we couldn't capture any PS4 footage of Need For Speed Rivals any sooner, so here it finally is in glorious 1080p. If you really feel like comparing both next gen versions, you can also check out our Xbox One videos right here.

Let's keep going with our tour of the Xbox One launch lineup with this time Need For Speed Rivals. Certainly not a bad looking game, but a racing game not able to keep at least 30 fps at all times seems very wrong to me.
Note: Once again, keep in mind that the sound problems you can hear are due to our capture equipment, not the game.

Need For Speed Rivals is one of the launch title of the new consoles, but is also available on PC. Thus we offer you three videos of the very beginning of the game, teaching us the basics of the game on each sides, the racers and the cops. Unfortunately the game being locked to 30 FPS on PC, our videos are too. If a future patch unlocks the framerate, we'll do some 60 FPS videos.

Need For Speed Rivals being part of the next gen line-up, we're keeping a close eye on it, even though we can't say we've always loved the recent episodes which have been released in the past few years. Tonight, EA sent us a bunch of images and a new trailer called Progression & Pursuit Tech.

It's been quite some time since the last time Electronic Arts sent us any new media of Need For Speed Rivals, so here is a new video of the game showing the personalization of the vehicles.

It's been a pretty busy summer in terms of homemade videos. Of course, there was Gamescom in Cologne, which allowed us to bring back a lot of content, but we also covered almost every possible release in the past two months. Because the team is not getting any bigger, the French side got a bit more content than than the English side, but we sincerely hope you still appreciate the effort. More to come in the coming weeks, with the release of long awaited titles such as GTA V obviously, but also all the other games which will ship between now and the end of this year. Next gen is around the corner and we are rather excited to see what the new consoles have in store of us. However, the next months will also be fateful for us, as we still need to see if Microsoft and Sony will consider us worthy of a debug consoles as they did in the past. What's important now is that we are truly motivated to continue our work for as long as we can, and with all the projects we have in mind for the website, we can only hope we're given the opportunity to make them come true. Many thanks to all of you and special thanks to all the developers who have always shown us how supportive they are of our work. We wouldn't be here anymore if it weren't for all of you.

We were allowed to film only short videos of Need For Speed Rivals, so here are two videos. Notice: vibrations on the videos are due to the huge bass on EA's booth.
