The First 10 Minutes: Silent Hill HC

Konami's Silent Hill: Homecoming will finally reach Europe next Friday on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, though it was released in September in the US. The developers have with this game re-done and enhanced a couple of things in the gameplay, like the controls and camera angles, and the loading times are finally done right. The game now feels a lot closer to an action title than any previous games in the series, but I've barely scratched the surface and shouldn't judge the game in any way yet. Inside you'll find the First 10 Minutes of the game in video form.
Update: A shorter part 2 added.

E3: Attract mode of Silent Hill 5

After the other day's long gameplay video, here comes the attract mode of Silent Hill: Homecoming, the cinematic that plays when you keep the menu screen untouched for a few minutes. Note that it includes a brand new song from Akira Yamaoka, in the vein of Silent Hill 3's theme.

E3: Gameplay of Silent Hill V

And to end the day, what could be better than a best of Silent Hill: Homecoming's first level ? After having cut out some puzzles and other long wanderings, we offer you some disgusting monsters, creepy settings, a really mean elevator, and, last but not least, the almighty Pyramid Head. What about that!

Videos of Silent Hill: Homecoming

The Collective's Silent Hill: Homecoming was also at IDEF, and we brought you two gameplay videos showcasing both levels of the PS3 demo. The first one, about ten minutes long, takes place in the good ol' Alchemilla Hospital - exploration, puzzles and zombie nuns at the menu. The second one, shorter, takes place in a foggy cemetery populated with hungry skinned dogs. Luckily, I had a crowbar...

Images of Silent Hill

I calmed down a little bit since the last time I covered Silent Hill: Homecoming. It's important to let a game have its chance before passing judgement. Konami sends some new images that are still missing the good old filter from other entries in the series, but are still much better than before (that doesn't mean much, actually). The focus on Chris' face is well done.

Images of Silent Hill

Developer The Collective has some things to be ashamed of : after an unconvincing showing of their Silent Hill: Homecoming with some images that were not really inspiring, the company is back at it with some small shots. Yes, it looks good, but at this resolution, almost every production does. Who are they kidding?
Update: added 6 HD images from the PS3 build

Images of Silent Hill

Konami recently announced that the new Silent Hill game will go under the name Silent Hill: Homecoming, and that it will be released at the end of September in Europe. Here is a couple of not so impressive images from the game itself.

Images of Silent Hill 5

Konami and The Collective release two galeries of Silent Hill 5 screenshots, one from the PS3 build and the other from the 360 build. Nevertheless, some images showing absolutely no differences at all from one version to the other, we kinda doubt they're really X360/PS3...
Update: We cleaned the old screens and the doubles. Obviously the multiplateform tag was a mistake from Gamespress.
