NiGHTS flies on paper

Here's a page from the latest issue of Famitsu magazine dedicated to the videogame NiGHTS in preparation for the Nintendo Wii... or maybe not, since this is the remake of the Saturn's classic from 1996, Into Dreams, planned on the Playstation 2 and to be released February 21, 2008 in Japan. Its graphics will be sharpened and it will allow widescreen (16:9). Nightopia Dream Pack comes with the original 48 page artbook.

Images of NiGHTS

Hey, I thought adding a nice and big gallery of images for NiGHTS would bring a smile to some of our readers in a perpetual quest of informations about this videogame over the week-end. The levels seem quite detailed.

NiGHTS trailer

Please excuse the fact that this NiGHTS trailer has been posted late on the website. It borrows from the Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games trailer posted yesterday with a focus on Computer Graphics (CG) segments combined to actual gameplay. I appreciated the fluidity and the big monsters in some levels. The contrary can be said for the treasure hunt with secondary characters.

Images and infos from NiGHTS

SEGA just opened its official Tokyo Game Show website and, as a bonus, we added some new images to the NiGHTS videogame's portfolio on the Nintendo Wii. An official press release from the company confirms the support of multiplayer matches through many modes, some offered locally and others using the extended features of the Nintendo WiFi connection. Furthermore, SEGA plans to add "Artificial Life", a special mode where you can capture, raise, and combine animals from the Nightopia world.

NIGHTS images

Sega finally released some images, CG cutscenes stills and artworks of the kids in NIGHTS for the Wii. The kids are an integral part of NIGHTS' gameplay, not always the best one though, at least in the Saturn game. I wonder why Sega keeps releasing 720p images of this game...

It's been so long since fans have been clamoring for a sequel to Nights into Dream, well there it is now and it's logically on the Wii. Images inside.
