Recommendations for a new sound card

Since 7550 Days

My computer soundcard is not working anymore so I'm looking for a new one to replase it. The one I had now is an old creative soundblaster audigy es. The card at first start making a buzz sound and now is not sending any sound at all.

What good soundcards you guys recomend me?

I dont want to spend more than 100 $ for this soundcard. It can be eather PCI or PCI express x1.
