Keep in mind xfire didn't support it for all day yesterday. It's already on top 10 now.

Game is lots fun. Love versus. Jockey riding people is soo cool :)
Ah, I didn't think about that. I just presumed since the demo was supported immediately that the game would be too.. but then they did have a few days prior to the demo going public.

Well I've given in to temptation and I must say this game is superb...
I had some really good games online and most people seem to understand how to play the game (except for the occasional idiots who shoot everything with the nade launcher)
I find that this game really gave me the feeling of trying to survive during a zombie plague, had some edge of my seat moments when we we're running for the final point in a campaign (The end of the Parish campaign is brilliant if you ask me)
So far finished all of the campaigns on normal and finished one on normal with realism settings on... I'm also really digging the scavenge mode as it can be really entertaining...

I'm having a problem with the achievements for the game..
My achievements have been cleared a couple of times already..
Here's a screenshot of the control panel showing me getting the achievements multiple times :S

I had some trouble w/ them in the first game as well... just a couple times though, it was never like a massive issue.

Just played the first three films with friends. Excellent game, it's a lot harder than L4D though. The last stand scenes took us multiple tries on normal, don't know how it's even possible on expert. Graphics are also excellent, imo. Valve knows how to design their games.

I won't be getting this one I'm afraid. While it has unrivaled co-operative play, the game is shallow. There are never enough levels for my liking. If there were say up to 15 stages for me to play I'd be more convinced. As it stands though it makes variation a glaring problem for me. I owned the first one, and this one is too similar from the sounds of it. Serves as simply a filler game till the next great title.

It really isn't. I played through the rest of the films yesterday and "Hard Rain" got to be my favorite by a long shot. I crapped into my pants when halfway through a huge storm builds up and you can't see shit in the dark, to make things even worse a tank appeared when we were halfway through the corn field (which is like 10 times worse than meeting him in an enclosed hallway).

The weather effects are superb, still can't believe people dismiss the game for its old engine. It's easily on par with everything out now thanks to the incredible art direction.

Also played some versus and I got to say that it's even better than the first. The new infected are a lot of fun to play and the constant change of pace and variety of the environment always keeps it interesting. Also the finale of the first campaign was a lot of fun. Basically we rushed the gas cans, threw them down to the car and got ir filled up in one go.

Nice write-up. Funnily I haven't played any MW2 since L4D2 arrived. Playing infected in versus mode has a stress relieving effect on me, as opposed to MW2 which tends to rise it.
