Since 7422 DaysStory is lame so far. It would've been nice to see how these guys all met, but it just shows them on trial while they recount the events. It's impossible to care for anyone in this game this way, and if this was my first Gears, I'd probably wish they'd all die.
Changes:
-Sticky Grenade tagging (if the grenade hits you it sticks, duh)
-No more molasses legs (if you're getting shot you don't lose momentum, so you can actually move to a better spot)
-Gnasher whoring is back (if you played Gears 1 you remember the 1-2 combo)
It's still a first person shooter with a hulk of metal blocking a 1/3 of the screen, but it's much faster paced. Free-For-All is the best FFA in any game I've played this gen. So hectic I love it. You feel badass manipulating the situation to your advantage.
Overrun is like Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead Versus had a baby. It's sad they got rid of Horde for those that liked it (it should've been kept for more content) but I probably would've just played Survival instead anyway.
Anyway, Tinks hissed/barked and scratched/bit the game cover on his way to PAX East so give him a kick over a fence if you see him! Not every game has to be Natural Selection 2, cat/dog.

Prepare To Drop!!
Since 7422 DaysAs soon as you see someone in COD they're dead or vice versa. And there's always been vultures in Halo waiting to toss a grenade or put in the last headshot. Long distance kills are easy and it's all about finding a vantage point.
In Gears if you want a kill you need to get your hands dirty. Just trying to snipe will get you destroyed in a hilarious fashion. Gotta keep moving, and towards the action preferably. Tossing a Stim grenade into the fray gives you a point to recover health and a chance to take out weakened combatants.
This is the only multiplayer game I've had this much fun playing by myself since Halo 2's Rumble Pit.

Since 7422 DaysCampaign felt like poor DLC and the Multiplayer only has 4 maps and then another 4 for Survival. Slim pickings. But it's fun, so I'll keep playing.
