Btw, it really sounds like Epic is developing an epic sequal. If SP is 12 hours on a challenging difficulty (not easy/normal, but not psycho) and isn't repetitive and has a solid story and they pack in another great MP package it sounds like they have sealed their position as one this gens flagship title to date. Can we say best new killer IP this generation?

Lets hope they live up to that hype... personally I really like how they have addressed the evolution of the series. This isn't a simple sequal but a really evolved and fleshed out game.

It's a pretty good episode, I just watched it.. lots of Gears 2 talk, and good looking games all around. Worth the download.

Well the SD version's working now, but cheers anyway Grift.

Pretty impressive episode, not just because of Gears 2 either. The new map looks very good - reminds me of 'Raven Down', except the Seeder has replaced the Raven (obviously). I'm confident that the story in the single player campaign will be really something, simply because I have the upmost faith in what Epic are saying.

On a side note, so looking forward to Fallout 3 and Dragon Age: Origin after those two teasers.

And some people believe this game is no longer a graphical showpiece? Utter rubbish.

That multiplayer footage blew me away. I can't believe how incredibly well they've made this game, and I honestly can't fault it.

It had such a cinematic feel to it.

About that Gridlock comparison video. I think the first Gears has better looking version of the map. I just don't like how much HDR/Bloom there is used. Overly used the effect almost always gives me headache :/

The other MP video looked better. Reload + shit yeah comment is always fun. Of course the new gameplay additions looked fun too.

Is it just me, or does the SP look a ton better than MP? Some of the MP shots look pretty poor to be quite honest. The SP gameplay footage Blium has up is absolutely amazing. At first I thought it had to be a cut scene, the draw distance and activity is excellent.
