I can't wait to hear more about this but good thing that this game is now confirmed :D

I have only played demo versions of the different expansions but it feels really great game. I almost bought that collection too but thought I don't have time for it and now that this is revealed I am going to just wait this new game :)

I only played Dawn of war few hours, never owned it. But might buy all collection, because it was really fun.

I am not the best to answer but I think it's a good game. First game got really positive reviews and what I have played the demo versions it was fun.

During the mission we were shown, which takes place in a rainy, jungle-like environment, the main goal is to kill an Ork warboss. Upon reaching his hideout on the map, a short cut-scene triggers where the boss taunts our squads briefly then shifts into battle. In addition to the giant Ork, swarms of smaller foes stream in from the top of the screen. The scene looks more like something from Diablo II than a real-time strategy game. The warboss even has a boss health meter visible at the screen's top and special attacks, like a shockwave move and a ground attack that lights up terrain in a line before a string of explosions triggered. The tactics of taking him down involve moving troops out of the way of his ground shockwave, steering clear of his melee attacks, and keeping a squad focused on clearing out the Ork rabble that keeps spawning. Once he is finally killed, he drops his gun, which is labeled as a "blue" item.

Managing the battle will, like in Company of Heroes, involve a heavy use of cover.

hmm interesting. Game is going to be a great.

This is indeed badass :P

Interesting what they are doing on the Singleplayer part. Its like Total war games, we pick units before go into battle, no base building.

Wonder if they on Multiplayer will have two modes, and maps for each. One like normal DoW, with base building, other where we buy units and go fight over the map.

Looks great, cant wait for more news at E3.

Amazing, the Eldar!

So we got: Space Marines, Orks and Eldar.

But isnt it kinda silly to announce this like its a whole new race? Eldar were already in the original Dawn of War....

I'm not surprised at all by how good it looks, because Relic has an awesome engine for it's RTS games, and that just keeps getting better.. Just look at Company of Heroes, still looks very good aswell for a 2006 game (best explosions ever!)..

DoW2 looks awesome, but I'm not into the sci-fi setting.. There's also plenty of other good new RTS games outthere this year with the same sci-fi setting, think Red Alert 3 and Startcraft 2.. Therefor I hope they'll announce another Company of Heroes soon after this, that's what I want..

I would love to see new CoH game. I have to say that I haven't completed the first game yet but so far I have enjoyed it really much. Great to see that Dawn of War 2 takes features from it.

So many good RTS games coming I can't wait to play them all.

Loved the full Cg video.

So we will have: Space Marines, Orks, Eldar, Tyranids.
And Orks and Space marines will have a campaign i think? And we will be able to play in co-op...
Im not sure though, might be mixing info :P

Pretty cool. But no Chaos :(

Hopefully they will put them on the expansion!

Game is looking really good, cant wait to see more footage.
