Corrected English translation and voice work (over 5000 dialogue

Loading times reduced by 80%.

For example, aside from the game DVD, we are planning to include a DVD with a Mod Editor D'jinii, as well as two additional adventures, a video DVD with extended material concerning the making of the game, a music CD with 29 tracks from the game, a music CD with 15 tracks of music inspired by the game, an 80-page instruction booklet, a 112-page official guide written by the authors of the game, and a 50-page short story written by Andrzej Sapkowski. There will also be a map of the game world. As you can see it is quite an elaborate release and it is important to us that fans all over the world be able to buy this version of the game. Especially considering it will not be more expensive than the standard edition of the game!

Oh my head is going to explode :p I really hope they get that edition out to stores! Hmm sounds too good did I understand it correctly? I think there was this kind of edition in games home country when it got released. so this is probably the same.

Did you install patch 1.2? Because after it load times were lot faster...

Anyway good news! Awsome support to the game :)

As soon as I learned that this update would include a ton of rerecorded dialog, I knew I had to wait to play it. The translation is a bit harsh in the initial release, at least, that's what I took in from the demo.

Great to see good support for this game. Like those who get the game earlier get all the enhancements free. Just how it should be.

Yes I had to wait too. It's been hard not to just go and get the game. Just a little longer I guess.

Yeah, even though the update is going to be free, I'd rather wait and get the new package. Probably a silly move, since we'll probably wind up wasting money by doing so, since the original version can be had at a discount if you look around. But, oh well.

I can recommend it. It's quite big file ~2GB but worth it. If you like it I would recommend you to wait and get the enhanced edition.

Wow the demo is horrible, Isomac how can you be so harsh on Too Human when this game has as many faults with its fighting and animation.

Think I will pass on this one.

Different strokes maybe? I thought The Witcher demo was great. It helps to lock it into an isometric view, as the combat is almost impossible by comparison over the shoulder, but I thought the combat was well done. The only big fault I saw in the demo was with the translation and clunky conversations.. which should be ironed out quite a bit in the uber patch.

When I finished all of the quests in the demo, I was sure that I would eventually play The Witcher.

The combat seems basic, but it is an RPG, and as such I suspect there's a lot more to it that we don't get to experience in the demo. It's a pretty long game too, not Baldurs Gate long, but from what I hear it's 40+ hours.. which would suggest that there might be a good deal of progression throughout.

I honestly forget everything I learned about progression in the demo, which is a bit of a shame, since I usually try to use that experience to base my initial build off of in the retail game. It's a good thing that you can use the save game file from the demo.. I'll probably start over, but it'll be nice to be able to load that up and play around with the leveling system a bit before I commit to anything.

I wouldn't compare this game to Too Human. This game has some problems with the fighting too but all the else is just so awesome that I can't wait to get this game. Enhanced edition is going to fix and add animations and lots of stuff to game. Also you have to remember that this game uses Neverwinter Nights 1 engine. They sure tweaked the engine. This game is more like Baldurs Gate than action RPG. Long main quest, lots of side quests and you do choices, mix potions and all that stuff that I like.

I am downloading it again. I can't really remember how the fighting was but I think the basic was to press the attack at the right moment to do combos, defend and change the fighting style.

Yes I am harsh to TH but I just don't like it. I have played so much games with looting and all. So I am not wowed just by the amount of loot or skill trees. Seen that all already in other games done much better too. Those other games didn't have camera problems either or horrible UI. End of TH talk.
