While I still find the combat awkward, I gave up my sword of flames for that one hammer that does something like 49 damage, and I had an f'in blast with it. Hitting multiple enemies into the air at once and zipping between them while airborne is so much more satisfying that using the sword. Also, not bothering with the stupid ruiner but instead keeping the combo level built up helped me to enjoy it more as well.

Yeah, this game is certainly a case of 'you either love it or hate it'. Heck, I don't even find it technically that good. I mean i've noticed a few framedrops and screen tearing in the demo, and the graphics are poor in places. The cut scenes aren't great either now that i've seen them a bit more, and the faces of Freya and the other female characters are shocking (although Baldur looks amazing in my opinion).

Even when all of that is taken into account, I still really like this game. Why? Because it's extremely addictive and incredibly fun to play. There is nothing quite like collecting loot and customising your character.

In the timed fights, is there a certain time you are supposed to try to finish the fight in other than the 40 seconds it shows?

I have never completed those timed levels. Even when I was a level 7 Berserker with quality duel swords, I still mised out by like 8 seconds. I guess I have much to learn. :P

I always salvage stuff I don't need as soon as possible, so I don't stack up.
If you crafted the helmet then I know I need a purple loot item for helmets, I been getting a few but non of them came close to that. Will try, thx.

Pick a strong hammer or two handed sword and kill as fats as you can.
If you do it within the time you get better stuff from the better loot tower.
If you run out of time and still have eneies, you get decent good from the other one.

I always do it within the time, I just unleash runers within the crowd and make sure I am on the flow dashing and attacking with two handed sword, like that flame one, incredible powerful.

The demo appears to be really growing on people. I've hit the point where I just want the game now so I can experience the rest of the story and it hurts to get all personal with the character customization and loot, only to have it change on ya.

I was going to go for champion originally, but the berserker is just too badass.

It's like we have the same mind. :)

I can't just experience all that great loot and interesting story for me never to see the rest. Also, the combat is so fun and addictive when you get to level 7, so I know it will be amazing when you get into the extremely high levels. Plus if the armour and weapons are as good as what i've seen already, I will buy the game so I can make my dude look extremely cool. ;)

Can I ask is the majority of the armor cybernetic, is there any decent cloth/leather looking gear.

I really don't wana look like a colourful tin man if i can help it, but then I suppose stats are more important than looks, but some of the gear I have seen so far is just nasty looking lol.... and not in a good way.

SK said that game has cool glass armor and they made /I dont remember, but it was a number with lot of nulls/ armor and weapons

There is one armor I really like, it looks very awesome, one of my favorites by far.
It shows in the cutscenes too.

This one, it has clothing and armor, looks awesome, but I don't think we can get such things.

Most of the things I seen is metal armor.
I have seen on the statues within the game and those guys have a mix of regular clothes with armor and I would love to see that type of stuff.

I think what would be nice is if they implented a feature so you could check your friends characters out (even if they aren't online), just to see whos got what.

Obviously that would require a server for keeping players stats and armor.

I heard from Henry (I think or was it Dennis) that you can even trade stuff with your co-op partner and chek their status...etc.

I played it a couple times more, just to try the other classes.

I still don't--and will not--like this game, it just has so many things WRONG! The items, and collecting stuff is something I believe they got right, but just about everything else is WRONG!

Woaaa, that looks pretty cool.

I don't like the Trolls though - they're incredibly easy to kill with that move where you jump on their back and stab them. You should have to weaken them completely until they're stumbling about, then you should be able to do that move.
