Those screens look MUCH better. Super excited to play this game.. Want to see more of Cassy and Sophi. You lose credit for not posting the only pic of Sophi in the bunch--minus 10! New character seems pretty interesting.. I am also interested in seeing more of Amy. I don't have much (if any) experience with her in SC3, even as an opponent. Seems like she'll take up a bigger part in this game.

Grift I was posting those because of the depth of field on Mitsurugi and all. It was all about the depth of field. But yeah greek goddess is a hotty :P

And yeah.. I saw that pic and my reaction was, "Is that supposed to be Astaroth?"--he looks insane.

I wish they'd develop the arcade version first this time, this whole, backwards dev cycle does not please me. The least they could do is patch the revisions into the console version this time around.

Hilde will likely be my first new character.. because her weapon combo looks awesome. One of the reasons I love Sophi and Cassy is because they essentially fight with two weapons (they often use their shields offensively) and this seems like a sort of extension of that concept.

I can't imagine she'll match the sisters mobility though.. which is a fair trade for the increased range.

They definitely have.. if not just because of the well tuned depth of field. And congrats on the new projector. That's a nice thing to have :)

Well, to be perfectly fair, while these screens do look quite a bit better, it was the AWFUL background that made the last shots look........awful. In these screens that's completely blurred out, so who knows.

Fantastic. Why does a TGS trailer for a Japanese game have English voice overs though? I hope they keep the Japanese voices in as well, as they have in all the past Soul Calibur/Edge games.

It'd be difficult to pick a top three.. but my two favorite characters are Cassandra and Sophi, in that order. I'm looking forward to getting a bit more depth into some more characters this time around though, and I know I'll be learning Hilde right off the bat.. I think her weapons are very interesting. Much love for Ivy too.. and no one can deny that Mitsu is a badass.

They killed off Rock in one of the games, the one before the xbox, gamecube, and ps2 release.

It is really hard to pick the top three characters you like in coul calibur because so many of the characters are good, well the original ones from the dreamcast game. Some of charcters after the dreamcast version are alright but most of them suck. All the todd mcfarlne characters suck, and the 3 characters from the last soul calibur game sucks.

Cassy and Talim rule.. and I really dig Setsuka in SC3.. and hell Amy is one of the dev teams favorites.

LOL! Setsuka is way less "gay" than Raphael. And Cassy is cooler than her big sister.. so she makes up for all of it. Tira's not that bad either.

Hilde looks f'n awesome. But you probably think that SC is actually a better game than SC2, and you probably think SC3 sucks, despite the fact that it's actually quite good, right?

SC2 is alright but nowhere as good as SC, when it first came out, and even then it was gay with all the mcfarlene characters.
