Btw, do you guys plan on doing more Gamersyde/GSY Retro articles? I believe it would be even more relevant now more than ever since you could revisit some great games in 4K. Where they could look even better than before. As well as bring more attention to them.
I know you guys are always busy, but it would be nice if you guys could do it every 1-2 weeks. Plus you could involve the community and make a poll to see which games the majority would like to see. Or you guys could just show games you guys love and think would look great in 4K.
The idea came to me because there's so much focus on new games that we often forget older games. Some would definitely benefit to the jump in 4K - like Metro: Last Light. Also, it will be something to help add more content to the site in the next 2 months, which don't have as many high profile releases.

Blimblim, tyran.
Even in Mirillis Splash, which actually uses the GPU to make the videos run at 60fps, meaning the stress on the CPU and GPU are even higher, most of Gamersyde's 4K videos still work. And the rare cases that don't work in Mirillis Splash, work just fine in VLC. I believe only 1 video didn't ran well, but that was because of the bitrate, which Gamersyde's 4K videos use 1/4 of that video's bitrate.
I hate to say "it's on your end" as the description to any problem, but in this case it is very fitting. If a shitty 8 year old PC can run Gamersyde's 4K videos without almost any problem, why can't your much more powerful PCs?
From someone who has used over 30 different media players during 2 decades, and has had to configure video and audio codecs hundreds of times, you guys just have to configure your main media player(s) and/or test different ones.
I know it sucks, but the problem is absolutely on all of your PCs and/or media players, not the videos themselves. Also, make sure you don't have heavy applications running in the background consuming your PC's resources, like Anti-Virus, etc. I know it sounds stupid to even mention this, but most people would be surprised the number of times a system is slow because of this.
Also, some software people install with the CD/DVD that comes with the computer like Intel, AMD, ASUS, Gigabyte and other companies' software can consume a lot of resources and slow down your PC.
I don't even use any Anti-Virus, other than Microsoft's Windows Defender and Firefox's security add-ons, as long as you don't visit shady sites and don't install any dubious software on your PC, you will be fine.
You can also use MP + madVR to make the image quality much better, as well as use SVP to make videos run at 60fps. The better image quality is specially great for CG movies, animes, cartoons and games' videos.

I ask because I just checked both the stream and download versions in 2160p@60fps, and the stream version does indeed look "flat". But the download version looks great as always.
I always download videos, so I always see Gamersyde's videos in their best possible quality. But for those that just or mainly watch the stream version of videos, it might be best to download them - if possible.
Love the 4K vids too they look really good, thanks guys.
