Space. It is vast. Black and cold and just really big.

The area around my telly has little in common with it, so I'm becoming more and more fussed about what I keep around that place.

Wii and PS2 are both low key, under cover things that sort of just blend in there.

The Xbox has very little in common with them so I'm becoming more and more fussed about keeping that around.

Xbox BC is kind of a scary thing though. It might just be playing you with its upscaling and sexy 360 pad, and suddenly POW! You're sitting there whacking an angry inanimate russian over the head with a wrench to no avail. This is the case with Freedom Fighters that supposedly "worked" only to "not so much" when you got a bit into it because a guard wouldn't die and trigger the next event.

So, I would like to open this thread to have REAL testimonies on what games work perfectly throughout. I just don't fully trust the Xbox.com list. Just add the name of the game you've finished on the 360, and if there are any noticable issues you might wanna comment on those.

Ninja Gaiden (PAL) Works essentially perfect. Some very minor framerate issues and the CG cutscenes seem to lack frames but still play alright. [Simon]

Street Fighter III: Third Strike (PAL/NTSC) works perfect, and on Live [Domstercool/GriftFX]

Street Fighter 3 works on live. That's all I ever honestly cared about.

Splinter Cell games (PT and CT):okay at first glance, but has framerate stutters during specificing actions (shooting light bulbs etc.), also more noticable screen tearing.
Halo 2 - everything's fine
Fable - horrible framerate
In general I play Xbox games on Xbox 1, when I go back to them.

@szaromir, Halo 2 is not fine. It improves the pop-in a little bit among other stuff done to every BC game, but in some levels, the background just kind of gets drawn in the tv, as if it was a plasma screen burn, but it's actually a technical problem with the game.

I haven't really played old games that much, but I think the Rallisport series work perfectly ok.

Yeah the Halo 2 problems I've experienced too. Can't go far in campaign without them rearing their ugly... heads.

Rallisport *series*? :O I wasn't even aware RSC2 was added. Nice!

Jade Empire has lots of slowdowns and some textures are missing.

Has anyone played Silent Hill 2 extensively on it? I'm thinking about maybe selling my Xbox versions of 2 and 4 off and have the complete series on PS2 instead.

OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast worked quite good. Some graphics were missing like those coins you have to collect on some missions :/ Other than that it was ok.

Hmm at least I think it was Coast 2 Coast version of the game that I have.

Edit: some level worked like 10fps too... that was horrible.

Are you sure you meant to say "quite good" still?

The online for KUF:TC doesnt work online and for some odd reason the single player seems harder then when I first beat the game. It seems like something is wrong with the hit detection or the enemy has higher life bars.

About Jade Empire, how severe are the problems in that game? Do you know if the framerate issues are the same or worse than playing it on Xbox because Bioware usually laugh in the face of smooth experiences.

I have never played JE on Xbox. So I have no idea how it should run but I have heard it had problems with Xbox too. Loading times were quite long too. I have to say that I completed it year or more ago so maybe it has improved.

Ah I see. What about the missing textures? Is the surface completely white or, how does that come across?

Yep completely white. I didn't see that much. One area had many textures as white. Some flag's were white and carpet's too. Other than that I can't really remember. Characters were fine, at least I don't remember any errors on characters. Hmm I would say that 99% of the game looked fine, so it's not that bad.

I quickly tried the game. It runs on 4:3 so it has black bars in right and left side of the TV (like Halo had I think). I didn't have any saves to check if the texture missing is fixed. Performance was the same as I remembered, so it has that <25fps feel to it all the time. So no smooth game, some times it have really slow fps too, like running around the city. Menus seemed to work fine although music skipped a bit some times when changing the menus.

I see, well, I think I'm gonna pick it up for hysterically cheap (because it is these days) and run around a bit on the 360 to check things out and then if it's too bad I'll set up my old Xbox.

I really want something decidedly asian with a spirtual theme and I think Jade Empire is a good bet.

Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
