Yea the framerate is the biggest visible blemish on this great looking title for me.

It would've been truly fantastic were it rock solid performance wise, but I'll make due :)

The only biggest visible blemish I see, is the fact I can't rename my Char. to Bakapell, my friend.

At first I was apathetic towards this game but after seeing the TV commercial I think I'll ask GF to send me a copy. Disgaea 3 is kinda whooping my ass since I refuse to grind. If IU expects me to do the same I wouldn't hesitate to toss it, since I can't DL saves on 360 (boo Microsoft)

The framerate worries me.. I hope it won't be as gamebraking as the horrible framerate in Blue Dragon was.. the lipsyncing looks stiff as well..

I do like the art style though.. so I hope they at least fix the framerate when the game gets released!

Well the framerate in BD could disrupt a few time based attacks like the ones from Maru Maro, but it never was a real issue for me at least.

that's the point... it isn't as important as something like the ring sistem on lost Odyssey. When they start running, if the fr was incossistent, that would be totally Game Breaking.

But the breaks on B. Dragon, and in this one having the attack delay "a lá" Zelda, is one thing... massive frame-drops on the big scale skmirchs really is the one thing you can say that breaks the gameplay flow, and that we still can't confirm if it is the case, really.

I'll wait for your videos, cuz till now the only f-r Issues I can cleary see, are the attack delays in combat ( that some misunderstood for f-r drops ) and some breaks in the Trailer Cutscenes.
More footage is needed, please. Thanks.

You said framerate doesnt matter in turn based combat referring to IU, I presume :)

Anyway, WHAT ? LO is not turn based ? Of course it is turn based.

Lost Odyssey uses a traditional turn-based battle system. I don't understand how it's possible not to see that.

Nop, refering to Blue Dragon...
"I" see the Ring System of L. Odyssey way more active than B. Dragon, so... if you (in L. Odyssey) started running and the engine struggling to keep with the f-r, it would make your life way difficult to hit the rings right.

The low framerate in BD didn't affect the gamplay much for me.. more the game experience..

imo it's simply annoying to look at an inconsistent framerate whether it is gameplay or cutscene.. but I guess it doesn't bother everyone :o

Game is still exactly what I expected except for one point, it's an 20-30 hour long game......... Aka not worth 60$ for the horrible short game, same problem as quite many RPG's have nowdays which is quite sad ><.

Not my intention at all, i saw IGN's videoreview to it and i can see the reviewer's point, so many characters will eventually be in your team...at the end of the game you won't know anything about more than half of those characters...but you have to manage items and wapens for every single one of them...which isn't even nessecary, that's a shame if you ask me.

Personally for me the fact that there's no japanese voice option SUCKS. I hate those voices i hear in the gameplay videos..they are horrible, and i dont wanna be annoyed constantly while playing the game. HOWEVER...every gameplay trailer i've seen i was liking it....so i AM gonna try it out in the store for sure , before i completely write a game off. BUT....going by these two reviews it sounds like an dissapointment.
