So, no excuses... games aren't movies, so don't try to sell "national geographic"sim as the next big "game" thing. It isn't. |

2008-08-28 17:23:10 this thread brilliantly shows a big problem of the gaming market - it's all about mainstream games and mainstream-gamers are constantly attacking games which don't even try to cater to them (maybe because they fear to not get enough attention?) - quite a sad sight how the nichè-titles are being treated |

2008-08-30 09:35:50 It's impossible to make a sim like this one a true-to-life experience because when a hippo runs at you in the game, there's no adrenaline running through your body like while you're sitting there in you room. Also, catching a cheetah on the hunt is way harder to be there for. You have to wait a long ass time and follow the cheetah around forever. This game would have you believe that in real life, a cheetah wouldn't mind a big noisy vehicle driving only feet away while it's trying to catch an antelope. |

2008-09-05 05:25:55 The second vid was awesome with the cheetah chase, but why make those amazing animations etc, when you ruin it all by having tiny playfield "levels", and on top of that, when you get to the border you get a "Yes, No" question about exiting..... |
